A love of Television

Born into a well known family within the entertainment industry, the country-turned-city-chick started her media career at a young age. Alissa’s first TV appearance was at the age of four on Romper Room. Fast forward a few years, she was studying acting and presenting during primary and high school where she was also working part-time on Australian TV.

On the road

In Alissa’s late teens she moved to the Snowy Mountains to start her presenting career as a Snow Reporter where she delivered TV and radio reports on weather conditions and sporting events, crossing live to Channel Ten’s early and morning news and Sports Tonight.

On the move

The workaholic was picked up by Channel Ten to work as a segment producer for So You Think You Can Dance, followed by Young Talent Time, MasterChef, The Biggest Loser, The Shire, Everybody Dance Now, and Couch Time. Here Alissa worked on researching and interviewing contestants, script-writing, producing, online producing, and managing crews.

Totally Wild

Alissa made the move to Adelaide to work as a television presenter on popular children’s program, Totally Wild. Combining her love for animals, kids, the environment, and extreme sports, Totally Wild was the perfect outlet to continue working as a researcher, scriptwriter, producer, presenter and editor.

Talking sport

From children’s television, Alissa moved back into sport and worked as a sports reporter/presenter for Channel Ten Adelaide for several years.

Fox Sports News called and Alissa was offered a role reporting and presenting on national television from Sydney. Years on and Alissa can be found delivering live sports news for hours on end, delivering hard-hitting news, live crosses and panel desk chats.

    She also comes from country music royalty - her granddad Reg Lindsay won three Gold Logies for his TV shows and her great-uncle is Slim Dusty, a country music legend.
